Edward Cheers, affectionately known as EC, peacefully took his rest in the Father’s bosom on December 30, 2025. EC was a man whose presence could shift the atmosphere of any room he entered. Known for his kindness, humility, respect for others, and genuine love for people, he carried a spirit that made everyone feel seen and welcomed.
EC was truly the life of the party. He loved laughter, good music, and positive vibes. Whether he was behind the grill, acting as his own DJ, or dancing without a care in the world, EC brought joy wherever he went. If you knew him, you loved him—and if you rolled with him, you knew two things for sure: he was a die-hard Miami Dolphins fan and a firm believer in family unity.
Above all, EC cherished his family and friends. His love for togetherness, connection, and shared moments left a lasting imprint on all who were blessed to know him. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever celebrated.
Homegoing Service & Livestream
Homegoing Services for the late Edward E.C. Cheers Jr. will be held on January 17, 2026, at 1:00 PM.
For those unable to attend in person, the service will be live streamed. We welcome you to join virtually as we gather in love, remembrance, and comfort for EC’s family during this time of bereavement.

Supporting the Family
Unfortunately, Edward did not have life insurance. In order to provide a proper Homegoing Service, his children and family are seeking support from loved ones and the community.
There is no donation too small or too large, and every contribution is deeply appreciated. If you are able to give, the family is kindly requesting donations by January 15, 2026, as they trust God to make a way.
