James Henry Mickens

On Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 10:00 AM, our church family will gather in the Main Sanctuary to honor the life and legacy of Mr. James Henry Mickens. Though he was not a member of Second Baptist, we embrace his loved ones as our own during this difficult time.

Mr. Mickens leaves behind his devoted wife, his children, and a host of family and friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts. His presence touched many, and his absence will be felt deeply.

A Viewing will take place on the same day, December 6, from 10:00–11:00 AM at SBC, immediately prior to the funeral service.

Following the service, the repast will be held in the SBC Fellowship Hall, where family and friends can continue to share memories, comfort one another, and celebrate the life he lived.

May peace surround the Mickens family, and may the warmth of community hold them close in the days ahead.
