Minister Carolyn Williams-Givens touched countless lives with her unwavering faith, compassionate heart, and joyful spirit. A beloved member of our church, she was a beacon of strength and love for her family, friends, and all who had the privilege to know her.
To honor her life and legacy, a viewing will be held in the main sanctuary on Friday, November 15, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, allowing loved ones to gather, remember, and celebrate her impactful journey.
Her homegoing celebration service will take place on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 10:00 am in the main sanctuary. Pastor Jackson will share words of comfort as family and friends come together to celebrate her life. A repast will follow in the Fellowship Hall from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, where Mike & Jackie’s Catering will provide a meal, and the hospitality team will serve the family.
Arrangements have been lovingly handled by Jay Funeral Home at 17420 Homestead Avenue, Miami, Florida 33157. Minister Carolyn Williams-Givens will be cremated following the services, and there will be no burial.
The church family will provide support for the service, including ushers, health and wellness personnel, and hospitality teams. Additionally, audio and media technicians will ensure a seamless service with a PowerPoint tribute played as the family enters the sanctuary, live-streaming for loved ones who cannot attend, and a musical tribute featuring soloist Truila Thompson, accompanied by a keyboardist and drummer.
As we gather to celebrate Minister Carolyn’s beautiful life, we hold close the many memories she leaves behind and the lasting impact she made on our hearts.
