With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Brother George Barrett, who departed this life surrounded by loved ones. Brother Barrett was a beloved member of the community and leaves behind a host of family and friends who will deeply miss him.

A funeral service to honor his life will take place on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 1:00 PM in the Main Sanctuary of Emmanuel Apostolic Church, located at 16809 SW 100 Ave, Perrine, FL. Prior to the service, a wake and viewing will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.

Following the homegoing service, Brother Barrett will be laid to rest at Graceland Memorial Park South, located at 13900 SW 117 Ave.

Brother Barrett’s spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him, and his memory will be cherished always. May he rest in peace.
